This game was GREAT! I did have a couple issues tho. On the compass level there were a few of the crystal thingys that although I could get to them I could not get back and I spent hours trying, because of this I could not get the last key on that level. I was still able to complete the game tho so not that bigga deal. Also right by the lair level portal there is a section with a portal and control thing I could not get too, perhaps I needed last key from compass level to do so. Anyway none of those things really made a diff just wondering if anyone else had same probs. Like I said this game is GREAT I Highly recommend it. Hope more levels will be added. I have really miss playing it since I beat it. Thanks for one of the best games out there!

THE BAD: No map feature to tell where you are overall in each level. Makes getting out challenging at times, but not in a good puzzle way, but more in an annoying, why-cant-I-see-a-map-of-this-level kind of way. Camera pans slowly and often not helpfully as you move about, as the game wants to gently show you the new area youre moving into by slowly panning to it. Problem is, it often interferes with being able to see hazards or monsters headed your way. Puzzles are too repetitious, and not particularly challenging. THE GOOD: Graphics are cool. Music is cool if you like Tangerine Dream/New Age synth music. Some challenge to the puzzles, and figuring out how to zap pursuing monsters. OVERALL VERDICT: A decent way to kill some time and have a few mildly challenging puzzles. Fun for a while, but soon the repetition lack of depth to the game make it begin to feel tedious. Mildly fun, but forgettable.

Very nice graphics but puzzles arent that challenging. Wouldve been a major hit if the puzzles and enemies were more diverse. Very good time killer.

Although I love challenging games, I have hit a wall in the "flood level" one of the new updates. Impossible to proceed, as well as freezing up every few minutes requiring I Pad to be powered cycled...... Love the game,,, please fix!

Great, puzzles are easy to medium level experience. The visuals and music are excellent. Its a great way to kill a little time with out the stress of a more active game. I highly recommend it

An amazing game on many levels. Great production design which includes an aesthetic consistency and maturity most iOS games lack; great sound design, including an awesome atmospheric soundtrack; and great choice to leave the "story" barebones, leaving players imaginations to fill in the blanks... Reminiscent of early 90s pc games takes on narrative. I want more games like this... Anybody listening?

I love Shardlands -- its a great diversion. The first few levels act as a tutorial to get you used to the gameplay, after which the challenges begin in earnest. None of the puzzles are TOO difficult, although theyre not necessarily easy at first glance. The higher levels are pretty challenging in some areas, and you need to pay attention because you could make a wrong move and end up not being able to collect all of the orbs. Its not a perfect game -- I wish there was a story to follow as you explore, especially given how well the environments are rendered. The lack of a story doesnt detract from the gameplay, though, its just a minor nit to pick on my part. There are some Game Center issues: some of my achievements are not registering as completed. I have contacted support about it, and will update here accordingly when I hear back from them. PROS: intuitive controls, great graphics & ambient music, challenging (but not impossible) levels. CONS: minor Game Center glitch, no story OVERALL: a great game for puzzle lovers.

This is one of the best adventure / maze / puzzle games Ive played. Graphics are awesome, sound effects are perfect, touch response is great... I cant think of a single negative - except, I hope they release more levels or a part 2!!!

Shardlands is engaging enough, the music gets on my nerves after a while however, I would give anther star if you could sync between devices/PCs with regular updated content. Beef up the storyline and youll have a classic.

What a steal! Incredible production values and clever, intuitive gameplay. Barebones story, sure, but it suits the game.

Puzzles arent too hard. Environment is incredible. Think Bolo meets Doom.

Glitch on level compass and cant complete level. Rock wont allow movement of platform to get back to complete level. Please fix this glitch.

The levels are not too hard. The atmosphere and music is great. Got it for my MacBook and loved it so much I got it for the iPad. Just wish my progress in one would translate to the other, but I cant find a way to do it. Love the game though.

I really enjoyed this game when it first came out and played all of the levels available. When I came back recently to play the newer levels I encountered the new monster scorpions. I cant figure out how to kill them except to drop a bridge out from under them and that option is not always available. I cannot find any guide online to help me understand this. Like one reviewer said, the game is useless without a way to kill the scorpions

Great game - loved it on my MacBook but never finished it because I missed a key somewhere. Now it has scorpions as added monsters. You kill them by touching them w/your finger but be careful to touch THEM & not the board or Dawn will walk to them & get killed! Now also playing on iPhone is fun. It would help to have repeat instructions now & then or a place to go read them as some missed the way to kill the scorpions, or like when I missed the spirit key it wouldve helped to know when I did it before I left the level. Trying to find it later did NOT work...I wish someone had done a walkthrough but it sure would be hard. I hope I make it to the final end w/all the keys this time. Anyway fun puzzle game with some very hard puzzles but mostly just moderately hard to easy and all doable if youre patient. The levels are repetitious but different enough not to be frustrating.
